At the town hall meeting organized by His Royal Highness Eze Ebiri Okoro,the Paramount ruler of Ohumuola community, Igbere, Bende Local government area Abia state. The delegations from the Advocates for Global peace forum international interacted with the residents and the village heads about how they feel with the growing number of young Igbo girls entering into prostitution in different parts of the world.
Everyone present were deeply touched on hearing the statistical number of Igbo girl children trafficked to different countries for prostitution and forced labor on daily basis and resolved to take every necessary measure to prevent this evil menace within Igbere by joining the open campaign against prostitution and human trafficking in South East Nigeria.
