AGPFI has been at the forefront in supplementing the efforts of governments in providing accessible health care to thousands of Nigerian people as we strongly believe that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation.
Our outreach programs play a critical role in improving and expanding the reach of healthcare through activities such as health education, case management, basic healthcare, and treatments, as well as facilitating access to services.
Our basic actions in health can also be summarized in the following:
* Sharing culturally appropriate health education.
* Providing informal counseling and social support.
* Support ongoing disease self-management skills and awareness campaigns.
* Conducting routine medical examinations and general treatments for people with varying degrees of common illnesses.
