Advocates For Global Peace Forum International, a strong United Nations support group kicked off the sensitization of market women leaders on the precautionary measures to observe as Lagos State Government reopens markets amidst the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
The program which was to compliment the efforts of the Lagos State Government in curtaining the spread of the Corona Virus started at Oriade Local Govt development council, Lagos State on the 5th of May 2020, with hope to extend to other local Goverment council in the remote parts of Lagos State.
The market women Leaders were sensitised so as to sensitize their wards.
Hand sanitizers and nose masks were distributed and will also be made available to all the markets, to enable them protect themselves against the deadly virus.
