On the 11th of Oct 2019 which is the International day of the girl child , Advocates for Global peace Forum International visited schools in Udi,Enugu state with Ambassador Nnamdi Kingsley Nebo. The Igbo girl child suffers sexual discrimination and equality. We identified another pressing issues that is posing a serious danger to the Igbo girl child ;PROSTITUTION AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING of which we are raising an awareness campaign soon in all the five South eastern states to permanently end the menace in Igbo Land and among our young girls.
The girl child is a great pride to the parents and society at large and our potential future mothers and more attention and care should be given to them.
Many schools were visited and thought about dangers and evils associated with the prositution and human trafficking,how to identify potential traffickers and anyform of sexual abuses/exploitations to the adequate authority. Thousands of copies of books and learning materials were also donated and distributed to support them also.
